Brother Johnny Elmore was a teacher and friend to a countless many of us in the Lord's Church. He lived to serve, educate, and entertain others. He loved the Lord with all of his heart and all of his life. He's left us with a great many memories to hold and we are blessed to also be left with the treasures of his voice.

In 1989 Johnny presented this talk at the Church of Christ in Wichita Falls Texas on "The Evangelist". Johnny worked as an Evangelist all his life, trained and influenced many others in the work, and truly was dedicated to the work of the Gospel. We hope you enjoy listening to this sermon as you can hear the passion in his voice as he brings forth teaching from the word of God.

Brother Lynwood Smith, a greatly loved and lamented Evangelist of years past still lives on in the hearts and memories of those who heard him speak. Even for a new generation many of his sermons carry on his life's work: The edification of others.
