Benjamin Franklin was a zealous worker in the Restoration movement. He began to speak in public immediately after his baptism and in less than a year was filling appointments at many places. He was always more of an evangelist than a minister. Even while acting as the regular minister of churches, which he did much of the time for twenty years, he would find occasions for holding "protracted meetings," and was always successful in such work. We've found debates to be somewhat tricky to sort, so we decided to put them all together in one post. Below, you will find over 100 debates along with a brief description of the subjects discussed. The names of each participant in the debates are listed alphabetically, then the debates are listed alphabetically as well according to the name of the first participant.
We've found portions three different religious college lectureships: Abilene, Harding, and Lipscomb. Lectureships can be quite useful to your studies as they cover many different subjects. These lectureships are organized by the year they occurred. The topics are listed within the indexes of the works themselves.
